Lawrence & Winslade was born out of a pure passion for all things sartorial. Ricky (Lawrence) was a client of Jack (Winslade) for over 7 years with the two developing a mutual respect and friendship throughout. Through many whiskeys and many hours of conversations of what we would do differently and better or what we could add to the sartorial world as a whole L&W arose.
With Jack’s experience of nearly a decade in the tailoring world and Ricky’s interest and designs we are confident in being able to bring the latest in what our clients want and need whilst respecting the traditions of old.
This is a company that was built out of the experience on both sides of the measuring tape, the clients point of view as well as the tailors. This gives us the unique ability to not only assist you in the practicality of materials and use, but allow you the guide and freedom to create the dream and desire of each piece.

From the initial consultation to the final fitting, we dedicate ourselves to understanding your individual style and requirements, resulting in a garment that is flawlessly tailored to you.

OUR PROCESS

The bespoke suit process at Lawrence and Winslade begins with an in-depth consultation, where we discuss the client’s style preferences, fabric choices the finest details such as linings, button choices and specific requirements. Precise measurements and body configurations are taken to create a unique pattern.
This pattern is then used to cut high-quality fabrics sourced from renowned mills to the clients exact configurations.
Our skilled artisans handcraft the suit, paying meticulous attention to every detail, each suit takes on average 50,000 stitches and 50 hours of labour.
Multiple fittings are conducted to refine the fit, making necessary adjustments during the base fitting to ensure a perfect fit and maximum comfort.
The result is a perfectly tailored, one-of-a-kind suit that exudes sophistication and elegance.
